Day 1: Nikole’s Shakedown Journal

Hey there, fellow -and future- fat flushers! My name is Nikole and I am  going to be taking you along on my fat flushing adventure! I hope that my journals help you to become as passionate as I am about this life changing plan. And for those wondering, it doesn’t just help you lose weight. Yes, that’s an amazing benefit! But your overall health is the important thing here! There is a Fat Flush Plan for everyone! Let me start by introducing myself.

I’m married to the love of my life, have 3 pretty princesses who keep me on my tippy-toes and 2 spoiled pups. I’m a daughter, sister, and friend. I volunteer at my daughters’ school and work as a hair stylist. I love making women feel beautiful! I love the outdoors, working hard and I hope to inspire others with my story. What you see is what you get! I’m an everyday person, running kids around, trying to keep a clean house and juggling a million things at once! So far on my journey, I have lost over 50 lbs and I am the healthiest I have ever been with the Fat Flush way of life. So yes, YOU CAN do it too! Being busy is an excuse I used for many years. As Thomas Jefferson said, “Don’t put off until tomorrow what you can do today.” Take that first step to becoming the new and improved you, and feel the best you have ever felt!

The most common questions I get are, “How did you do it?”, “What do you eat?”,  “How do you do it being a wife and a mom?” and “What do you do when you go out of town or out to eat?” These are questions that I am going to be answering as I take you through my day to day life! Day 1 ♥ Shakedown Food Journal

I have been living the Fat Flush lifestyle for about 7 months now. The smoothies are my favorite part and I have continued to have one everyday even as I have moved through the phases. They are just the perfect way to start my day! The shakes give me so much energy and I just feel fantastic knowing I’m giving my body something delicious and healthy! I decided to go back on the Smoothie Shakedown for 2 weeks for a couple reasons.

For one, I found out I had a bunch of friends starting or in the process of doing the Shakedown! I had no idea so many people were taking that first step to better health! So of course I wanted to be there for encouragement and be right along side them on their journey. Secondly, I needed it for myself!!! I just did my 1st 10K race February 12th and for a few weeks I was adding in extra friendly carbs to my diet… This however moved the notches up my scale quit a bit… I wasn’t paying attention to what I was consuming (which is why is is soo important to keep a journal!) but when I weighed myself the day after my run “YIKES” and “Oh, it’s shakedown time!” came out of my mouth! Haha 🙂 Plus, I was feeling a bit bloated and my jeans were fitting a little snug… A feeling I had not experienced in quite some time! So thankfully, I have Ann Louise and her amazing plan! That is what I love about this program, I have been given the tools to get back on track and exceed my goals! So here we go! We can do this together!

On arising:
Hot Lemon Water w/ pinch of cinnamon and ginger

8 oz cran-water
1 scoop wheat grass
1 scoop Probiotic (Flora-Key)

This purifies your system in one green sweep. The greens, Flora-key and cran-water work together to clear the path for detoxification.*

Breakfast: Blueberry Smoothie
2 cups cran-water
1 scoop Body Protein Powder
1 serving frozen blueberries
1 tbsp flax oil
1 tbsp chia seed
(I like to add extra cran-water and use frozen berries.)
Blend!

CLA-1000
B-Complex Forte
(I get all my supplements from www.unikeyhealth.com)

Snack: 1 hard boiled egg w/ green & red peppers

Lunch: Mixed Berry Smoothie
1 scoop Body Protein Powder
2 cups cran-water
1 serving mixed berries
1 tbsp chia seed
1 tbsp flax oil
(I like to add extra cran-water and use frozen berries.)

Afternoon Supplements:
Weight Loss Formula
CLA-1000

Snack: hard boiled egg with veggies.

Dinner:
Spaghetti Squash with Meat Sauce (View recipe here or check out the Smoothie Shakedown Guide— pg. 29)
Steamed Green beans and Arugula & mushroom salad

Cran-water/Water for the day: Half my weight in oz.*
