Green Beans with Garlic & Spice

Ingredients
- 1 cup no-salt-added Chicken Broth
- 3 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
- 2 small jalapeno peppers (seeds removed), minced
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- 2 teaspoons cumin
- ⅛ teaspoon cayenne
- 1 pound whole green beans, trimmed
- Lemon juice for drizzling
Instructions
- Heat ½ cup broth in nonstick pan.
- Add garlic, jalapenos, turmeric, cumin, and cayenne; cook until the garlic turns golden, about 3 minutes.
- Add the green beans and remaining ½ cup broth and stir well.
- Cover and cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally for 5-6 minutes or until beans are tender.
- Drizzle with lemon juice and serve.
