Fat Flush Vinaigrette

Makes about ½ cup

Fat Flush Vinaigrette
 
Recipe type: Dressing
Ingredients
  • 5 tablespoons no-salt-added Chicken Broth
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dried mustard
Instructions
  1. Put all ingredients in a small jar, cover and shake vigorously until mixed.
  2. Use immediately or store in the refrigerator.

 

Variations:
– Phase 1: add a few drops of unsweetened cranberry juice and 1/4 teaspoon Stevia for a cranberry vinaigrette.

Phase 2: Add 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
– Phase 3: Substitute 1 cup of water and 1/4 cup sherry or white wine for the chicken broth, and increase the vinegar to 1/4 cup. (This makes a delicious marinade for chicken, fish, and beef!)

*Note: Remember to include ingredients when calculating daily intake allowances.
