Zippy Ketchup

Yields about 1½ cups

Zippy Ketchup
Recipe type: Sauce
  • 1 cup tomato puree
  • ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Pinch ginger
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne
  • 2 packets Stevia Plus (or to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon dried chives
  1. Place all ingredients in a jar; shake to blend.
  2. Cover tightly; refrigerate for up to 3 days.

Sarah’s Notes:  Don’t worry if the ketchup seems runny at first, it will thicken in the fridge. The flavors will also deepen as the garlic powder “blooms.” You can adjust the flavors and seasonings as you like. My family says this is the BEST ketchup!
