Peach sorbet is the perfect dessert to satisfy, but without all the sugar. Great after a big meal like beef or lamb.
Serves: 4
Ingredients
- 4 peaches
- 2 tsp almond extract
- 1 tsp Flora-Key or Stevia Plus
- ½ tsp fresh lemon juice
Instructions
- Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor and blend until smooth.
- Freeze in plastic containers or ice-cube trays for about 2 hours.
- Take out partially frozen fruit and stir well to break up ice crystals.
- Return to freezer and freeze completely.
- Let stand at room temperature 15 minutes before serving.
Notes
This sorbet can be made with other types of fruit and flavorings. Try substituting pears for the peaches and adding ¼ teaspoon of powdered gingerroot.
