Chickpea Pate

Ingredients
- 1 cup cooked or canned chickpeas (garbanzo beans), drained, reserving the liquid
- 3 tablespoons onion, chopped
- 3 tablespoons parsley, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- ½ teaspoon oregano
- ¼ teaspoon ground cumin
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon liquid from chickpeas
Instructions
- Place all ingredients in a food processor or blender and blend well.
- Add more liquid if needed.
