Braised Fragrant Chard

Course: Side Dish

Ingredients
  

  • 3/4 cup no-salt-added vegetable broth
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic smashed
  • 1 bunch green chard chopped coarsely

Method
 

  1. In a large saute pan over medium-high heat, heat 1/4 cup of broth.
  2. Saute the onions and garlic until softened, about 2 minutes.
  3. Add the chard and remaining 1/2 cup of broth; cover.
  4. Lower the heat to low and let simmer until the chard is crisp-tender, about 5 minutes.
