Chickpea Pate

Course: Snack

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup cooked or canned chickpeas garbanzo beans, drained, reserving the liquid
  • 3 tablespoons onion chopped
  • 3 tablespoons parsley chopped
  • 1 garlic clove minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon liquid from chickpeas

Method
 

  1. Place all ingredients in a food processor or blender and blend well.
  2. Add more liquid if needed.
